Hss Drill Bit 6.5 mm
HSS DRILL BIT 8 MM
1) Metal drill bits
Metal drill bits with partially ground tips are suitable for non-ferrous metals. These include aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, iron and unalloyed steel. For stainless steel, drill bits made of cobalt alloy High Speed Steel (HSS-E) or plain drill bits with titanium coating are required. These are more expensive than regular HSS drill bits, but they allow drilling in special steel without high wear on the drill tip.
2) Wood drill bits
These drill bits have a long centering tip and two pre-cutting protrusions and are well-suited for accurate drilling in wood.
3) Concrete drill bits
These bits are used for drilling in masonry and concrete in conjunction with a hammer drill or rotary drill/breaker (a rotary drill/breaker is required for drilling in concrete). However, if the wall is made of porous stones, only rotary (non-impact) drilling should be done. The same applies to porous bricks and slab walls. To drill these materials, you need to use a drill bit with tungsten-carbide plates soldered on the tip.
